Day at a Time

By Tweedy

From Marwick Head

We walked this morning with our daughter, my sister and BiL the short but dramatic circuit at Marwick Head. The main is looking south towards Hoy and, on the far right, the famous  Old Man  sea stack. There was hardly any wind even up on the cliffs. First glimpse of Westray this holiday too. The extra is a juvenile cormorant on the beach.

Meanwhile the girls were at the Bay of  Skaill with their mum and dad and our grandson was being cycled round in a trailer with his parents.

Tonight we're going to the Ferry Inn for an evening (very early evening)  meal. A chance to get the required family photo I hope.

The weather is still great though not just as sunny today.
