Even windier

The wind howled all night and has been very strong during the day.  It’s howling again now.  At the moment it’s 4.4degC but feels like 2degC.  In other words, it’s cold!  We pottered most of the morning but decided to walk into town around lunchtime.  My warm coat from the UK is coming into its own.  

We bought tickets for the Roger Fox Big Band show at the Oamaru Opera House in October, then poked our noses into a few shops looking for a couple of things we need.  It was rather nice just wandering and looking.

MrMacD managed to take the doors off the big fridge, now all we need is some help to get it down into the laundry.  Hopefully it won’t be too long before that happens.  Someone might be picking up a lot of the boxes tomorrow, which will give us space in the garage.  It’s all a bit messy at the moment not knowing what’s going to happen when.

Unfortunately we didn’t manage to make soup today - there’s always tomorrow, though!

It’s a full moon tonight and I managed to capture it through the bathroom window, although I must admit that it looks a tad small.
