Another close encounter

I suspect people are feeding a couple of the local kookaburras because they show no nervousness around humans. We had one on our patio a couple of evenings ago and it wasn't at all perturbed that I was encouraging it to move along. It was sitting on the back of a new chair and we were concerned it would soil the fabric cushion. The cushions are now safely inside until the new conservatory is built.
