Sunset over ................

............ Ayr in Scotland.

Today I drove up to Scotland to visit AnnieBScotland in hospital and will be staying overnight in Ayr on the west coast - the island you can see is Arran. The sky really was that dark - no jiggery-pokery or filters used.

Spot the boat .. and maybe a submarine???

The weather was glorious for the seven plus hour drive and when I arrived at the hospital at 3pm I was so pleased to see that Annie is improving - she looks, under the circumstances, very well in herself. When I returned at 7pm she even looked a little brighter than in the afternoon so it is a good and upward progression.

It is going to be a long haul for her, she still hasn't got use of her legs or one of her arms and is undergoing daily physiotherapy - but she is a determined lady and has a very loving family around her and many friends rooting for her. I passed on all your good wishes and she says a big thank you.
