Social climber?

An in between shot. Taken after Storm Antoni's rain had cleared away and before the gale force winds on its backside made their presence felt from lunchtime onwards. Trees near me have been swaying alarmingly all  afternoon with leaves coming down like a proper late Autumn day. 
The culprit is a large slug which has climbed to the top of a Marigold ,maybe trying to evade a patrolling Hedgehog which visits the garden regularly. In the event the pest was removed. Just daft enough for Silly Saturday?
