No chance

No chance of drying any washing on these lines today! No chance of gardening either - the rain didn't let up all day, and it was decidedly chilly too.

Never mind, meant that I actually did some little jobs that have been on the 'to do' list for a while. A new postbox is on order, hopefully much less flimsy and a little larger than the existing one. Some summer trousers on order too, to replace the existing pair that must be about 15 years old, and are beginning to disintegrate. Hopefully it won't stay this cold and wet for the rest of the summer! Finally got round to sanding our two spice racks ready to paint. They were supposed to be 'shabby chic', but they'd become far more shabby than chic!
