Fuchsias

We seem to have inherited some of the brightest fuchsias I've ever seen. Almost fluorescent after the rain!

A day off from the day jobs for MrM, and we had planned to go out for breakfast before popping in to a couple of shops. That plan was scuppered by an email informing me that the new letterbox was due for delivery today, before lunchtime. No problem, we'd go out for lunch instead, and so we did. But it turned out to be a very late, mid-afternoon lunch as the tracking info of "your delivery driver is running a little late" meant quite a lot late! The joys of internet ordering!

Never mind, it was a delicious lunch in the form of a sharing platter at Beatties, so substantial that no evening meal was required! After that I fetched my newly repaired pendant from the jeweller's shop, and found a pair of sale shoes for a wedding next month. A successful trip, and home just in time to take in the washing before the rain started...
