Watching

This evening I'm watching the track races in the velodrome, and there's been a lot of great action, notably the men's individual pursuit final. GB's Daniel Bigham seemed to have the race won, only for Filippo Ganna to pull back over 2 seconds in the last kilometre.

The image of the day comes from the men's road race, that finished with ten 14km laps around the centre of Glasgow. Rather than try to find a space near the finish, I took a train one stop to get out of the circuit, and watched at a tight descending corner. After watching a few laps from the outside of the bend, I crossed to the inside, and stood at the barriers forming the apex. Hence as riders like Mats Pedersen (red), and double TDF winner Tadej Pogačar (green) came past, I was within touching distance.
