Two weeks old!
This bouquet of flowers I got from Cheryl next door are two weeks old tomorrow and are fabulous. First the roses were their best and then recently the pink lilies have popped.
Walked down to Tabou later for a coffee and croissant. The main reason for coming down was take mum off our joint account. It was a simple process but was quite emotional doing it. Another tick.
Finished the Eulogy and printed it out in bold with 14 font and large space between paras. It’s three pages and takes 5 mins to read. Final numbers given to Kerry at the undertakers for booklet and McDiarmid park.
Back home and some lunch . More bad news from S Korea with a typhoon arriving. There is a lot of goodwill happening from the people of S Korea. They are doing their best to help with activities for the scouts in Seoul. We haven’t heard from Cameron, he will be working anyway. They are making the most of it anyway. They are young, trained for circumstances and the scout association U.K. have been helping with their funds for the remaining week.
Laura came over at night. Terrible fire in methven that claimed the life of a former colleague with three of her grandchildren in hospital.
Then she texted us later to say her and Dave were sitting in the living room and a mouse scarpered over the floor in front of them!
It reminded me of the mouse incident in Portugal in their apartment when we all were there celebrating my 60th! That time during the night she woke up with a mouse crawling in her face!!!
