Sgwarnog: In the Field

Copper

The meadow in the park near work seemed quieter with the regular summer butterflies like Meadow Brown all absent. There seems to have been a fresh brood of Speckled Wood though and single Small Copper (main image) and Holly Blue were both firsts for the year at this site.

Work is starting to get a bit busier again as the wind up for the new academic year begins, although I’m still trying to tidy up some loose ends from the last one.
