Gamesmanship

I’ve had a productive day today, baking the above goodies and doing lots of laundry. It ended with another visit from the littlies late this afternoon. They came with Mummy and once again brought their Dragonimo game with them, which we played a couple of times, after which we got out one of our own games, which is a shopping game. It requires the players to fill their ‘supermarket trolley’ with eight items of shopping, according to each player’s ‘shopping list’. The dining table was covered with little pieces of cardboard picturing items of shopping, face down, and it’s really a memory game, because you need to memorise where someone else has put down an item they don’t need, but which you have on your shopping list.

Granny and Grandpa are now quite worn out from trying so very hard not to win … but it was worth it, because L & H went home happy, having either won, or come second, in every game!
