Snail's pace

Our overnight visitors have departed, and the house is once more quiet. 

We’ve had a hugely frustrating day as far as our ongoing property sale legal matters are concerned, which are most definitely travelling at a snail’s pace. Fortunately, the few minutes I spent outside in the garden taking this photo gave me a very welcome creative outlet to combat the stress. And it also helped soothe the slight feeling of sadness we feel after the family have gone.
