A day in the life

Hans, the storm, has left and summer is back a while more. I've spent a large part of the day in the garden, all the rain has made everything grow, weeds as well in particular.

I took a walk through The Grove this afternoon, I haven't been there for a couple of months. Everything is quiet, the birds are no longer singing, kids have left the nest and many species has already left the country. It's a deep, green quietness, damp after all the rains and it feels a bit like walking through a rainforest, almost.

Most plants are also ready to drop their seeds, like this Thistle, that looked good 'n healthy in the background sunlight.
