Arabian star flower

Aka Tall Star of Bethlehem, Arab's eye, Lesser cape-lily and most correctly as Ornithogalum arabicum.


Who knew? These flowers were in a bunch that were delivered this week. They are stunning and I was intrigued by them.

Today I drove to Haltwhistle to see Brian, whose wife, Jean, died just over a week ago. We had time to talk and for me to listen to his recent experiences. I saw all the cards and read some very moving messages about Jean.

Margret (next door) came this afternoon and we had a good chat.

The evening has slipped away.
