Woodland City of Mushrooms!

Well, what are these then?!
Teeny mushroom cottages!
Found by a tree trunk.

Home from family gathering.  Very tired!  Dog fell straight asleep by the aga when he walked in! Ben was awake at 3:15am so it was a bit tricky but overall, it's been so lovely to spend time together and to see the American arm of the family!  Littlest nephew had become so much more aware and chatty over the last twelve months so it was really fun to watch him navigate around the grandparents home and all the people, plus two dogs!  He loves Leo, so he's in my good books!  And Leo had pretty much stopped barking at him by the end of the visit :-D so maybe we've helped desensitise him to small children.. fingers crossed...
We got home around lunch and had a walk in the woods this afternoon, Mr KCNQ2Haiku spotted these fungi growing around a tree trunk and I thought they were quite spectacular! Although I have no idea what they are!
We are all super tired though, Ben was struggling this afternoon but now I'm worried he's gone a bit 'past it'!!  Fingers crossed for a better night.
PAs are back tomorrow, so I've got a meeting and a physio appointment booked.  Nice to think about getting back to routines :-)
