The yurt

We survived the night and the trip under the stars to the Thunderbox (compost loo).  The yurt is really snug and soon heats up when the sun touches it.  The weather has been boiling hot so B took a swim while E and I chilled out on the lawn behind and read, in fact the yurt is like an oven during the day. We are eating our meals outside in the open air.   In the evening the three of us trooped up the hill to one of the estate cottages where friends R and J gave us supper.  It is so lovely to be tucked away from the busy world for a few days and not having to get in the car.
