It was Fi's turn to drive so I got to her house for 9.30am ready for the journey to Snowdonia. The weather forecast was very disappointing so we fully expected to arrive to rain, but it was dry, so we went straight to Little Tryfan to climb. We did two routes, swinging leads at the mid height belay stances... we love it there, it's such great climbing. But then it began to rain, so on to the Emily Kelly Hut at Cwm Dyli, arriving at about 5pm.

There were two Pinnacle Club members and their children staying, which sort of made up for the lack of our own members on the meet. There were only 7 of us, and on Saturday morning 2 of those decided to go home - we didn't find out why. Fi and I were just pleased and relieved to have got some climbing in.

P.S. I shouted down to Fi that her helmet was at a rather jaunty angle, but she couldn't hear me!
