a lifetime burning

On patrol

Cathy and I went for a pleasant stroll along a section of the Bath Skyline walk this morning, before ending up at the American Museum for a sandwich lunch.  For one section, we used footpaths that cross the Sham Castle golf course.  As an occasional golfer who knows how easy it is to hit an errant ball, I'm not terribly comfortable on footpaths that cross fairways, but I'm pleased to be able to report that both of us have survived without injury, or indeed even a slight fright.

I was going to feature a photo from the walk but I've ended up processing this shot of a common darter, which was taken later on this afternoon, so its another dragonfly for you all I'm afraid.
