Balanced bridges

A busy day.  It was a glorious sunny day as we set off first thing in the morning to the local hospital.  My husband had an outpatients appointment in the stroke unit.  He was the first to be seen and had a very thorough examination including brain scan, physical examination, blood samples, ECG and will have a heart monitor fitted for a day sometime in the future.  He was informed that he hadn't had a stroke but a blackout or syncope which was a relief.  This was all done very quickly and efficiently and we left late morning and headed for Topsham.

By now it was a sunny and warm.  We enjoyed a walk from Darts Farm into Topsham via the footpath alongside the River Clyst and River Exe.  We enjoyed a well needed coffee and lunch in a local cafe and then headed back to the car via the modern pedestrian bridge adjacent to the 18th Century Clyst Bridge shown above.  You could say that the 2 bridges are balanced across the River Clyst or perhaps you could say this is a balanced shot with a bridge on either side of the image.
