A day in the life

Finally I'm done with my meadow for this time. Rain was hanging in the air but kept dry. The grass gets so damp it's difficult to cut it and  heavy to move. But now, I leave it to the cows. My landlord comes tomorrow to transport it to his cows, out grazing elsewhere. He says they'll appreciate it.

The rest of the day has been mostly filled with writing music and rehearsing. I'm back into my Beatles repertoar, getting it ready for a couple of performances in September.

My very good old friend Elaine called to say she's bringing two friends for a visit in two weeks. That'll be great fun. I need to borrow two beds from somewhere to house them but I guess that can be arranged somehow.
