Walks and talks

The weather's improved, and the grandkids were down on the beach for a lot of the day.
I drove to Menai Bridge in the morning, to visit Jess and Brian, two old friends who moved there some years ago. It was a short visit, as Jess is in the middle of a course of chemotherapy and tires easily. Good to catch up though; we talk on the phone regularly but meeting up is an occasional treat.
Later I went for a short walk along the coastal path with Jean, one of the friends we're sharing the house with. This is the view from the path, looking across to Holyhead. A quick phone shot, as I'm still being careful about carrying the big camera for any length of time.
