Lancaster Royal Infirmary

Pleased to have collected Mr P from hospital today with some new tablets.  He's got to wait a few more weeks before they can perform the necessary "procedure " to reset his heart. 
 A quick bit of Googling revealed that this was the first building of the current hospital.   It  opened in 1896. Just down the road from the current A&E. . The hospital had started much earlier  as a dispensary and fever clinic in the 1700s near the castle.
