The Water Closet

Now a deli sandwich shop, previously a hairdresser . I think it stopped being a public toilet in 2010  when the local Council asked for offers for alternative uses. There is a sign on the wall to the right of the OPEN , beneath the point of the planter that gives the name of the building as The Water Closet,  so its origin is not forgotten. .  If you get caught short in Flookburgh now though you have to trot about a km  to  the next village. Here 2 members of the Tuesday crowd are waiting for our picnic lunch to be made so we can continue our walk and eat it in the sunshine. Mr P stayed at the picnic spot with a book and waited for lunch to be brought to him.
