New book

This book was picked by our book club last year but I wasn’t overly keen on most of the picks and lost interest. Saw this copy in the secondhand book shop so thought I would give it a go. Not loving it yet.

I’m not sure what the cover has to do with the story.

Gardening day today. I’ve just come inside at 4.45. Bob has something on for dinner. Aren’t I lucky?
