Day at a Time

Camusdarach Beach

The wonderful Camusdararch beach just north of Arisaig.

Blipper Winsford knows this story already but it's worth repeating. When we used to visit this area each year, 20+ years ago, we stayed at a B&B near the beach. It was quite an eccentrically run place but we loved it. Evening meals were provided - huge platters of fresh fish from Mallaig. We were encouraged to eat our main course then walk to the beach to watch the sun setting over Rum and Eigg. On our return dessert, coffee and a digestif would be offered. Absolutely marvellous. I have stacks of photos of sunsets at Camusdararch. Couldn't provide one today but the extra is the sky from the bothy about 06:30 this morning.

Walked at Arisaig, at the Corran Ferry (another ferry tale) and at Strathyre. Home now and I have a lot of unpacking etc to do. I will get back to blip soon but maybe not tonight.

Thank you for all the kind anniversary and birthday wishes and for joining me in Lochaber this week.
