The Early Boat

Sunrise isn't till well after 06:000 now so it was easy to see the little boats setting out just as the sky was breaking. This is Orkney where the sea, land and sky all mix.

It's a thoroughly lovely morning. It's forecast for sun and to remain reasonably still. For those reasons we're doing the Noup Head walk today. I've blipped it previously here and here so this wee boat is today's blip.

Once we're back we need to pop into one of the two local shops to buy picnic provisions. There's a plan emerging for tomorrow.

A former colleague got in touch this morning asking about recommendations for a day trip to Westray. Well! Cameraman and I were just saying I don't know how we managed with just a week in the past, never mind a day.
