Demolished for the M6

This blip shows many members of my mothers family.

If you know where The Mount is in Orrell, Wigan you may know it’s incredibly close to the motorway exit.

I found out in the last week that my family on my mother side had their home demolished to make way for the M6 motorway. This is the magnificent building I’ve never seen before. My great grandmother Phoebe M is one of the two younger girls pictured on this photograph.
