Toad time

Suddenly the Toad Lilies are starting to bloom. Such a treat even though they are very tiny.

Pilates this morning and then, as our usual lunchtime cafe is currently closed for refurbishment, my friend came back here for coffee after which we had lunch courtesy of M & S. It was very nice. Too hot to sit out though.

Chris has been preparing his ingredients for making chutney. Apples and green tomatoes chopped and frozen for when he feels like the lengthy cooking process, preferably when it’s a bit cooler. Mustn’t wish this good weather away as one things certain, like the pretty little Toad Lilies, it won’t last!
