A pirate with his cannon!

Our youngest grandson slept well…… so that was good as it’s the first time he has stayed with us alone.

He was anxious to play with Lego again this morning before breakfast and this boat with pirate he was delighted to make. The cannon will actually ‘fire’ the little cannon balls! We tried to find the bits to make an aeroplane that we have instructions for but we have so much Lego that so far I have failed to find every bit..but will attempt to before he is next visit.

After a dog walk and a visit from my hairdresser we took grandson home and had lunch in the nice community/cafe in their village. Very warm today 32.5C when in the car. Fortunately a good journey both ways on the M3 and back home to rest after a busy three days.

I’m planning to watch more US Open tennis.
