One Tree #3

The moor has turned a lot greener while we've been away. The new shoots of bracken are beginning to grow up through last years dead, brown layer. The rowan saplings are leafier and the grass is longer.

This scene captures something of that transition, and allows you to see how the canopy of my One Tree has developed during the past couple of weeks. There's a nice flush of buttercups in the pasture too.

I've made a start with my holiday back blips:

Day One - Transit
Day Two - Audouin's Gull

Five days still to come.
