Flower Friday

Just had to make another study of an echinacea flower in the garden for Flower Friday... 

It's been hot again today but the thin high cloud has meant there was no real sunshine, just very humid and oppressive.

Tractor fans will like the extra today, a John Deere 8RX 370 cultivating the fields just opposite The Woodlands where we live. This is a serious piece of 'heavy metal' that's on hire to get the cultivating done. Looks impressive to me but Michael and Chris assure me that "unless it's blue it just will not do"...
