Purple Loosestrife - Lythrum salicaria

This is the best clump of purple loosestrife I've seen for a long time. It's growing beside a ditch between Castle Camps and Nosterfield End. The ditch eventually drains into the Stour Brook near Haverhill.

It's been very hot again today 32°C in the shady part of our garden.
