Yvonne Hair Painting

Dated 1985. It is hanging in our bedroom and measures 2.1 metres x 1.4 metres.

The painting depicts the Callanish Standing Stones and also mid summer and mid winter. It is a very complex painting and quite different from her current work which is simpler and very much smaller in size.

The difference can be accounted by the fact that Yvonne painted this as part of her graduation show.

Pat and I count ourselves very fortunate to own what is a wonderful painting by a talented artist.
