THE MORNING AFTER THE NIGHT BEFORE

Hello Lovely Blippers,

Well, what a lovely evening the HCBs had with Amanda, their love friend who lives near Brizzle - sounds funny and a bit silly, but that’s how some people pronounce it.  

So we could hear Amanda and Mr. HCB chatting quite early, but Mrs. HCB didn’t get up until after them.  After breakfast, she and Amanda decided that they would have a Silly Saturday Fest in the garden with Amanda’s Gang who are going to be called the ASSG, which is short for either Amanda’s Silly Saturday Gang or Alternative Silly Saturday Gang because of course, WE are the original SSG and Mrs. HCB told Amanda in no uncertain terms that the name has been patented, so she could only use it “with permission”. Oh er , we hope this doesn’t cause any trouble.

Amanda wanted both gangs to get together in the long grass to do a Conga, but Mr. HCB said that was silly because early in the morning and Amanda would be leaving at about 11.30 so he did some quick thinking and said that an upside down garden umbrella would be a good idea, so that’s what they both did.

You might like to know that Amanda has 72 in her gang - but a lot of them are quite small - and Mrs. HCB has 24, so between them they had 96!!!  I ask you, 96 of us all in one garden umbrella but we did have fun together - and we are sure that dear Admirer would have giggled if she had seen us all.

After that of course, and they gave us a quick twirl around, and then it was time to put us all back in our bags before Amanda left - and do you know, a couple of those in the ASSG seem to have made their way into the SSG bag - so now they have David the Dog and Purple Owl - which I’m sure you will see sometime in the future.  

The bottom shot is from last night when they had such a lovely time in Fabio’s, the Italian restaurant - and you can see that they all look good - Amanda has a Bacardi and coke, Mrs. HCB has some water and Mr. HCB has an apple juice because he was the driver.  They were toasting Mr. T and when they told us what they had done, we thought it was a lovely idea.

So back to today - when Mr. HCB took Amanda and they left about 11 o’clock - we were so sorry to see her and the ASSG go - although Mrs. HCB said she had had her very first pain-free night since her operation on 18th August, she felt sleepy, so she went up to bed and we suddenly heard here say “I don’t believe it - it can’t possibly be 4.21!!!”  Whoops, guess she slept well again!  

So now we are all on our lonesome now that there ASSG has gone back home, but we are sure we will see them again soon.  We all had a little chat before they went and agreed that the most important thing is to BE KIND and if you can't be kind, then BE SILENT!!

PS We forgot to say that a man got down in one knee and proposed to his girlfriend in the restaurant - and she said YES!! How lovely was that? /
