Parasols

Another hot one. We decided it was too hot to go out anywhere or do much; the only place we fancied was down to the beach for a paddle but we suspected the beach would be far too busy.  So instead, we've had a relaxing day and I've read quite a lot of my book.

There is a little play area in front of the house and the children were out there this afternoon.  The builders installed three pieces of play equipment but one boy seemed much happier rolling around on the floor in his large cardboard box.  Generally, the children using the area are quite young so the mothers seemed to have provided them with some protection from the sun.  Clearly, the kids were having none of it.
