Ivy Visitors 10

Top of the ivy league today, the central image, is a footballer hoverfly. I've chosen it as I've featured quite a few flies and they all spend a lot of time washing themselves. They 'taste' their food with their feet and they need to keep them and their eyes clean. My hoverfly looks like it is washing behind its 'ears'. :)

I've included a pair of tiny green bugs and an ichneumon wasp. Lovely that the hoverflies are starting to visit the big ivy bush now that it is coming into flower.
