It’s the Pacific again

Whenever we go for a walk on the Cape I find the views irresistible. So here is one of them.

The morning was spent in town, mostly visiting friends, with the shopping and the library squeezed in around them. Then home to get on with some watering and line-trimming.

The main topics of conversation revolved around the upcoming election. At one stop there was a bit of a raised voice as one elderly friend tried to persuade me to think the way he does about his political party of choice. It’s not the best way to influence me!

Elsewhere there was more of a meeting of minds and an interesting exchange of views and ideas. But we didn’t come up with a single creative solution to the fact that none of the Parties seem to be addressing any of the existential crises facing the world.
