To Dry or Not to Dry?

This hydrangea started off with beautiful white blooms. They have gradually evolved to a dusky pink. I have become involved in a debate about whether to cut and dry the stems.

If I do that it will give a big display of indoor colour, but will involve a tedious process. My sis advises to leave them and buy suitable stems in the autumn. That will leave these to give texture in the garden over the winter.

I like that suggestion because it gets me out of another task. Gives me more time to watch Homes Under the Hammer and A Place in the Sun.
