SoLoJo

The Friends of Hyde Park have staged a series of three concerts at the bandstand in Hyde Park this summer. They are free and have been a great success.

Today the South London Jazz Orchestra (SoLoJo) were performing. They put on a great show with massed trumpets, several saxophones and at least two trombones , as you can see here. A fine singer took us through several of the standards from the American songbook. My favourite : "You can't take that away from me." 

People were dancing (extra) , even a dog was joining in. The rain held off and an ice cream van was on hand at the interval.  Super fun afternoon.
