Oh Joy

Joy to see the egret back again. I liked this shot with its neck all curled up. Also like the soft evening light. It looks quite a young bird to my inexperienced eye. 

I took a lot of shots trying to get clear of all the surrounding branches. Then it decided to move. As I circled around the tree it moved into the sunlight, but I preferred this shot in the blue light. Hard to know how to frame it; went with a 2:1 to keep some of the trunk in the shot.
