Hanging Around

Work this morning was fairly busy for me  tying up a few loose ends in anticipation for a week off work .
Back home and a spot of Lunch it was then a walk up to the Cathedral area where there was the national fire and rescue training competition / display was on . I took quite a few shots a little spoilt for choice a selection can be seen HERE . Great to see some vintage fire engines  and normally getting to see and hear the Lancaster would be a main blip shot so I had to add an extra of it . 
My main shot shows a member of the fire service abseiling down exchequer  gate  arch to rescue a casualty that had fallen 

Back home and enjoyed a double header of Super League rugby and now relaxing with a few beers
