Turbulent sea

The wind continued this morning, but this evening it is calmer, so hopefully the extreme weather is over. A lot of damage has been done in various places - caravans washed out to sea at a camping ground just down the road from us, and the slipway for a much used launching site for recreational fishing boats  has been washed away, as has the braai/barbeque area. There'll be a lot of mopping up when the weather returns to normal., Evidently this is the worst case of high seas in fifty years. starting from Cape Town, coming along the coast.
On a better note, it was good to see our teams win in their rugby and cricket matches today.
