Sun shower seasons

My sedum used to be impressive and busy with insects, but thanks to workmen trampling on the best bits over the last few winters, thinking it's just spiky dead stuff, and possibly thanks to the seasons becoming all messed up and confusing the heck out of everything that grows, these days it's barely ready in time for the bees and butterflies to be around to feed on it.  It flowers a whole month later than it used to, and some of it isn't even in flower yet.  Extra is one of the roses on the big bush that, by contrast, isn't troubling itself much that it's meterological autumn and is carrying on for a bit longer.

I ended up doing another much too long day at work, but that was kind of OK because it rained almost the whole day too.  Two more square holes in fence-ish post made this evening though.  I'd've carried on and made another two if it weren't quite so incredibly noisy an activity.
