Tiny Tuesday: Little Apples

Not all the apples on our tree grew as well this year as those shown in my Widwed blip on 30th August. For some reason several of them never grew very much at all - these are only about 5cm across and are rather a funny shape.

We harvested them this afternoon: the crop wasn't nearly as good as last year but much better than the year before. I'm very pleased that we don't run a commercial orchard otherwise I'd be very concerned about the unpredictablilty of the crop!
