Abstract Thursday

Another big day in the garden, we were out there at 8am, but I had finished what I wanted to get done so was packed up and resting by 3.30pm.
Hot again, 27°….. were hanging out for the cooler southerly front that is expected over night with heavy rain.
Two fires up in the Mackenzie Country…..a large one on the shores of Lake Pukaki which has been going now for over 24 hours, and another one at Lake Tekapo as well.  Gale force and excessive high temperatures the cause.
