Langgarth House

Langgarth, one of "Stirling's great villas",  is in a shocking state of dereliction. Wanton vandalism I'm tempted to say. It used to be the HQ of the social work department where it housed the directorate. Some of the local offices were a little less grand. Langgarth had a beautiful walled garden.

Langgarth has been boarded up and half heartedly for sale for a long time now. I'm afraid its fate might be the same as some of the other "great villas" - allowed to fall into disrepair until demolition is the only prospect. Awful.

Thanks for hosting Marlieske.

Further shocking behaviour - this time from the 'moral vacuum' currently residing at 10 Downing Street. Listened to Al Gore on the radio during the night. He can string a sentence together.
