Knot Grass Moth Caterpillar

A cold start to the Autumn this morning, but the sun appeared so I decided to spend some time in the garden. With all the rain we have had the weeds and stray border plants have strayed to where they shouldn't be!

I spotted this caterpillar munching on the leaves of one of the Geranium plants (Crane's Bill) (do look large). Don't remember seeing one before. looked up the moth and that didn't ring any bells either. But it is welcome to chomp away ;-)

Carried on with spraying weed killer along the gravel path edging and between the paving slabs by the summer house, and then made a start on pulling weeds and stray plants, mainly forget-me-nots out of the raised bed.

Still lots to do, but after three hours, decided to call it a day , and as I not had any lunch came indoors and had a mug of coffee, and a toasted hot cross bun and butter ;-)
