You wait days to see a Trabant....

...and then six come along at once.

We left our cases at the hotel and headed down to Alexanderplatz for a look around.  I thought that the Berlin 'Oktoberfest' was going on there but there was no sign of it.  We carried on past the TV tower (apparently the tallest building in the EU; see first extra) and I managed a shot of one of the trams we have been using to get around (second extra).  After a look around the Humboldt Forum we walked down to Unter Den Linden.  It was there that these six Trabants went past but I only managed a shot of them after they had gone by.  A very pleasant lunch in a cafe on Unter Den Linden before we headed back to the hotel to collect our bags.

Now at the airport waiting for our 6.50pm (5.50pm UK time) flight to Amsterdam where we have two hours to get our connection to Norwich.  Hopefully that will all go smoothly unlike on the way out here, and we should be back in the house well before midnight.
