Men at Work....

...digging a trench "for essential electrical work".  They are digging this in sections all the way from the local sub-station round the corner and laying large diameter plastic pipes.

Is this part of a much wider task to upgrade the electrical distribution network for the anticipated increase in demand for electricity over the next few years?  Well, I can hope.
