Winter Warmth on the Way

Today we have had a wood-burning stove installed. From a brief demonstration on how to use it, we know it rapidly belts out heat even with very little fuel. I don't know how often we shall use it, but it's reassuring to know it's there. And a fire in the corner certainly looks cosy! The two guys who fitted it were so neat and tidy. I couldn't believe how little disruption and mess they caused. Now we need to lag the loft in our roof and replace the ill-fitting, draughty front door, and then we hope to be a lot warmer this coming winter than we were last.
